What I Wore :: Day 1 - Lollapalooza

Finally got around to the photos from Lollapalooza in Chicago a few weeks ago. We has such a blast and were able to, not only see some amazing live music, but also got to see so many dear friends while visiting the windy city.

The picture above is a shot of the crowd for Eminem.....crazy right? Apparently a record breaking 270,000 decended on Chicago for the festival. Thankfully, my day j-o-b allowed us access to stand on the other side of that madness with cocktails and a wonderful snack bar courtesy of Whole Foods.

Festival outfits, as stated in my previous post, are a tricky tricky thing to put together. First, you are outside....all.day.long....and also on your feet....all.day.long. It's good to stay comfortable, but you also want to partake in the fashion fun that are summer rock concerts! These days festivals like Coachella, Glastonbury, SXSW, Pitchfork and Lollapalooza are the fashion trend-setters. They have their own versions of 'street style' and trust me, I saw some amazing outfits at Lolla.....most that I filed in that 'amazing' category I had to think to myself.....how does she wear those heels and that dress....all.day.long?!

Day 1 - I channeled some serious animal print.

Leopard Shirt: F21 (similar style)

Skirt: F21 (similar style)

Shoes: Miss Sixty (my trusty boots!)

Tunes on the stage behind me: Foster The People
