Meal prep looks a bit like unorganized chaos in our kitchen most evenings. I usually try to get the kids meals done first and then start prepping my own. Let me tell you, it's never a graceful process. The counter becomes covered in everything possible and I quickly forget what it was I was trying to make, the baby's throwing food and Parker hasn't stopped talking since 9am this morning. This could seem like a high stress situation, but now I just turn on some music and listen to a calming voice read me a recipe and my sanity returns! My new Goggle Home is like the a patient grandmother who slowly repeats steps if I ask her too and doesn't seem to judge my inability to covert measurements. It's a team player! Do I feel weird talking to a small device sitting on my counter? Oh sure. I even think Sidney Sloane tried yelling at it yesterday. 😂 #googlehome #sponsored

So much interior inspiration this weekend! Had the loveliest getaway in Minneapolis at @hewinghotel and didn't want to leave. It was perfectly situated within walking distance of the cutest shops and restaurants and did I mention the rooftop pool?! I parked myself there with a glass of wine and soaked up the sun. It was magical. Thanks for hosting me @hewinghotel! #interiorinspo #minneapolis

Snuck a last peep of this sleeping beauty before catching an early flight this morning. Gosh, I miss the days when I could sleep that soundly and peacefully! Anywho, send me your favorite spots in Minneapolis that I should check out! #sidneysloane #ad #adenandanais

Nearly cried tears of joy when I laid eyes on @samsungusa's The Frame television at their event last week. I’m a gal who likes to dress for the occasion! Over the weekend we decided to pack up the family and venture out to our favorite farmer’s market. Naturally, I felt like a long linen dress, sneakers and a woven tote were the perfect summer outfit for a farmer's market road trip. My children slept in until nearly 9am this morning. I kept checking the monitor to be sure they were, in fact, still in their beds. Why can't that happen on a weekend morning? Cause of course, Mondays are not sleep in days for adults with jobs! #coffee #morningslikethese

The other day, this girl officially turned FOUR years old! We celebrated all weekend with parties, cupcakes topped with mini donuts (I know 😍🍩) and a visit to the zoo. She was showered with love from friends and family near and far. This lady is something fierce and special and inquisitive and smart. Gosh she's smart! I'm in awe that I get to be her mama. #parkermae #4yearsold

The perfect corner booth to cozy up and spend an afternoon. Snacks on snacks and champagne all around! #happyfathersday

Because if anyone in this family deserves to be pampered, it's this man! The one who has been traveling on back-to-back flights, working non-stop and still manages to make it home and do things like pick up Parker from school or make me a special breakfast. I mean, we all have the same number of hours in a day, yet he always seems to get more done! She turns four next week. FOUR! It's a weird concoction of feeling old, but not old enough and then cursing time and also thanking it for bringing you all these years with her, so then you start browsing eye creams but purchase a wine subscription instead.
